Founder and Exhibition Director of the Macau Design Centre/ Expert in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Industry-Education Integration Skills Talent Training Alliance.

Born in Macau, James studied printmaking at the School of Visual Arts in 1990. He graduated from the Bachelor’s degree program at the Macau Polytechnic Institute of Fine Arts, and in 2008, obtained a Master’s degree in Cultural Studies from Lingnan University in Hong Kong.

James has hosted ten individual exhibitions in Macau and Beijing, and participated in over a hundred joint exhibitions worldwide. He has received over 50 awards, including the Gold Award at the 5th Macau Design Biennial and participation in the 54th Venice Biennale (2011). His artworks are part of notable collections globally.
